Submission Guidelines

Thank you for considering TWIFF for your film. We’re excited to see what filmmakers around the world are creating. These are the Entry Rules & Regulations for TWIFF.

Since submission of a film constitutes acceptance of these Entry Rules & Regulations (by filmmakers and their agents), please review this page carefully.

 

FILM LENGTHS
ALL SHORT FILMS MUST BE 45 minutes in length.
ALL FEATURE FILMS MUST BE 45 minutes and above in length.

 

ENTRY FEES
Entry fees must be in US dollars and are non-refundable

 

NOTIFICATION DATE
Filmmakers will be notified by email or phone approximately 2-3 months after the Extended Deadline has passed.

 

NON-ENGLISH LANGUAGE FILMS
Non-English language films MUST have English subtitles

 

ENTRY MATERIALS

1) Entry form online along with payment

2) 1 DVD of the film, formatted for Zone 1 (North America) labeled with the work’s Title, Running Time, and Director(s) name(s)

Please do not put adhesive labels on the disc unless it is a professional output job (Use a permanent marker to write the information on the disc).

** ENTRY MATERIALS WILL NOT BE RETURNED **

(3) By submitting your entry, you will be required to execute a release and agreement wherein you accept responsibility for obtaining any and all clearances necessary to exhibit your film at THE WORLD’S INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL (TWIFF), warrant that you have the rights necessary to exhibit your film at THE WORLD’S INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL, and release THE WORLD’S INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL, LLC and its affiliates against any and all claim(s) arising out of the exhibition of your film at TWIFF.

 

MULTIPLE ENTRIES

We accept multiple entries. Every entry must include all the necessary entry materials listed above: entry form with payment, DVD, and signed release and agreement form.
