These entry fees apply to all categories

Earlybird: $30
Regular: $50
Late: $70
Extended: $85
Students (with valid and current student ID): $30

 

FILM CATEGORIES
We accept submissions of films in the follow categories:

BEST DOCUMENTARY FEATURE
To qualify for this category, documentaries must be 45 minutes and above and non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included we will first review if the film qualifies in this category or belongs elsewhere. All topics accepted.

BEST DOCUMENTARY SHORT
To qualify for this category, documentaries must be from 20-45 minutes and non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included we will first review if the film qualifies in this category or belongs elsewhere. All topics accepted.

BEST SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR FEATURE
In order to qualify for this category, films must be at least 46 minutes and up. It must either be a scripted narrative work or improvisational work of fiction. All genres accepted.

BEST SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR SHORT
In order to qualify for this category, films must be 45 minutes and below. All genres accepted.

BEST NARRATIVE FEATURE
In order to qualify for this category, films must be at least 46 minutes and up. It must either be a scripted narrative work or improvisational work of fiction. All genres accepted

BEST NARRATIVE SHORT
In order to qualify for this category, films must be at least 45 minutes or less. It must either be a scripted narrative work or improvisational work of fiction. All genres accepted

HUMAN SPIRIT AWARD
This film category is designed to explore the role of film in advancing knowledge about human sacrifices. In order to qualify for this category, films must be at least 20 minutes and above. All genres accepted.

HUMANITARIAN AWARD
To qualify for this category, films must be 20 minutes and above and non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included we will first review if the film qualifies in this category or belongs elsewhere. All topics accepted.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARD
To qualify for this category, films must increase public awareness of environmental issues. This category will recognize filmmakers actively expressing their concern for the environment through their work. Films may be any length. All topics accepted.

BEST INSPIRATIONAL FAMILY DRAMA
To qualify for this category, films must be from 20 minutes and above and non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included we will first review if the film qualifies in this category or belongs elsewhere. All topics accepted.

WORLD ANIMATED FEATURE
To qualify for this category, films must be from 45 minutes and above and non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included we will first review if the film qualifies in this category or belongs elsewhere.  All topics accepted.

WORLD ANIMATED SHORT
To qualify for this category, films must be 45 minutes and below and non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included, we will first review if the film qualifies this category or belongs elsewhere. All topics accepted.

BEST STUDENT FILM
To qualify for this category, films must be from 20 minutes and above and non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included we will first review if the film qualifies in this category or belongs elsewhere. All topics accepted.
